Founder & Dressage Rider
This Is My Why
A story about finding horses later in life and building a business to keep a dream alive, for my horses, my students, and the person I’ve become through it all.

There were no family stables waiting for me, no childhood ponies, no easy path into this life that now defines who I am. Horses weren’t something I inherited, they were something I found. Or maybe, they found me. From the very first time I looked into a horse’s eyes, something inside me shifted. It felt like finding a missing piece I never knew was gone. The sound of hooves, the smell of hay, the quiet understanding between horse and rider, it all became the language of my heart.
I fell in love with dressage because it’s not just about riding; it’s about connection. It’s the beauty of patience, trust, and discipline coming together in harmony. It’s about learning to communicate without words, to move as one, to build a partnership so strong it feels unbreakable. But with that love came a harsh reality, passion doesn’t pay the bills. Horses are expensive, competing is demanding, and chasing this dream means constantly finding new ways to make it work.
There were times when I didn’t know how I would afford to keep going. There were moments when giving up felt easier, when the numbers didn’t add up and the world seemed too heavy to carry. But I was never alone in it. My family stood by me when my dream was just an idea, when I had nothing but determination and a vision that felt far out of reach. They helped me start when I couldn’t afford to. They believed in me when I was running purely on hope. Their support built the foundation that I’m still standing on today, and I’ll never forget that.
Along the way, I’ve been blessed with friendships that became lifelines. Friends who showed up at the yard on early mornings and late nights, who shared the heartbreaks and the triumphs, who reminded me why I started when I doubted myself. The bond we’ve built through this shared passion is something I wouldn’t trade for anything. And then there are my horses, my teachers, my mirrors, my partners. They’ve taught me patience when things go wrong, humility when I think I know it all, and love in its purest form.
My coach has been another pillar in this journey, pushing me, challenging me, helping me grow not only as a rider but as a person. They’ve taught me that greatness doesn’t come from talent alone; it comes from consistency, resilience, and heart. And my students… they give me purpose.
Watching them find their confidence, seeing them connect with their horses, witnessing those little breakthroughs, it fills me with pride and gratitude. Knowing that I can play a part in their journey makes all the hard work worth it.
Out of all these experiences, struggles, and small victories, this shop was born. I created it as a way to keep the dream alive, to support myself, to care for my horses, to keep competing, and to continue doing what I love. It started as a simple idea, but it’s become something much bigger. It’s my way to stay independent, to turn my passion into purpose, and to prove that dreams are worth fighting for, even when the odds are stacked against you.
This business is more than a store to me. It’s my story, every product, every detail, every late night spent building it represents a piece of the journey. It’s the embodiment of persistence and the belief that if you work hard enough, you can build the life you dream of. When people support my shop, they’re not just buying something; they’re helping me keep my dream alive, they’re helping me look after the horses that are my world, and they’re helping me create a future where I can continue teaching, competing, and growing.

I know the road ahead won’t be easy. I still have so much more to do, so many goals I’m chasing, and sometimes I lie awake wondering how I’ll make it all work. But I also know that I can’t stop. I don’t want to stop. Because this isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am. Every bruise, every early morning, every lesson, and every little victory reminds me that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
Horses are my life, my dream, my heart. They’ve given me purpose and identity. And I’ll keep fighting for this dream, for them, for the people who’ve supported me, and for the person I’ve become through it all.
Because this isn’t just about making a living.
It’s about building a life I love, one ride, one lesson, one dream at a time.
"I will do whatever it takes to keep this life thriving."
A personal note
If you’d like to support my journey, partner up, or simply send a message of encouragement, thank you. Every voice, every share, every purchase matters. This dream is alive because of the people who believed in it. — Kayleigh
